Enter your best chili for a shot at glory. Individuals or teams, any style — traditional, spicy, white chicken, or wild game. Winners are announced during Buck Pole Night, Sunday, November 15 at 5 PM.

Rules & information

Read before you register.

  1. 1Registration is FREE and limited to the first 15 approved entries.
  2. 2Individuals or teams may enter, with one chili entry per team.
  3. 3All chili styles are welcome, including traditional, spicy, white chicken, and wild game chili made with legally obtained meat from an approved source.
  4. 4Each contestant must provide a minimum of 8 quarts of chili.
  5. 5Contestants must provide an ingredient and allergen list and identify their chili's spice level.
  6. 6Hilltop will assign each chili a number for anonymous judging.
  7. 7Contestants may compete for both the Judges' Champion and People's Choice awards.
  8. 8Public tasting is FREE while supplies last. Guests receive one People's Choice ballot each.
  9. 9Contestants must arrive during their assigned setup time and follow the event's serving and sanitation instructions.
  10. 10Hilltop Sports reserves the right to reject an entry that does not meet event or food-safety requirements.
  11. 11Winners will be announced during Buck Pole Night.
  12. 12Winners take home trophies and a $100 Hilltop Sports gift card.
